The launch of new solution services with 5G Technology adoption acts as a driving factor to monetize networks for communication services providers and Telecom Industry.
India:  Infosys has brought in new service based on 5G (fifth generation) technology for communication service providers.  The services will help enterprises imagine and create new economies with the usage of 5G technology and at the same time the communication service providers can accelerate and monetize their 5G network deployment. The company established new 5G Living Labs in five global locations that are Bengaluru, Richardson, Indianapolis, Frankfurt, and Melbourne, will facilitate the execution of multiple services. The global network of Infosys 5G Living Labs are designed with the aim to help enterprises imagine and curate game-changing ideas with the adoption of 5G, and rapidly prototype them to life. The labs combine the best of Infosys emerging technologies expertise in areas like (IoT), AR, VR, and AI, design thinking is driven approaches and a diverse partner ecosystem that is deeply invested in 5G technologies. According to BlueWeave Consulting, the telecom industry seems to have potential growth in the upcoming years due to the adoption of 5G technology. India is currently standing at a vital edge as the government is planning to gain potential advantages and benefits of a growing digitized economy, in terms of budding 5G technologies. 5G technologies is a wireless technology with the much higher operational speed which is expected to be several times faster than the existing wireless technologies (1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G) and significantly penetrate the 2G and 3G wireless markets. Factors such as High speed, faster download speed, low cost, and expansion in the Internet of Things (IoT) market drive the 5G technology market. Thus, the technology is expected to be utilized extensively in driverless cars, smart logistics, virtual reality, and augmented reality-based applications. Moreover, a 5G spectrum allocation policy is being announced by the government, and also recommended to have additional airwave bands for the next-gen technology support that might have an economic blow of more than $1 trillion. The government also recommended that for trail purpose free bandwidth will be assigned for a fixed time frame for setting up of the network. These factors are creating a positive impact on the market and hence fueling the technology market over the forecast period. According to the upcoming report by BlueWeave Consulting on “Global 5G Technology Market, By Technology (Radio Access Technologies (RAT), Wi-Fi, HSPA (high speed package access, GSM (global system for mobile), and WiMAX (worldwide interoperability for microwave access), By Usability (Enhanced Mobile Broadband, Massive Internet of Things), By Application (Healthcare, Consumer Electronics, Retail), By Size and Forecast, 2015-2025,”-  The growing consumer demand for high-speed data connectivity, across developed as well as developing countries across worldwide along with the increased proliferation of mobile and connected devices across different industries, and innovative technological advancement in the field of sensors and semiconductors are all conducive for the 5G technology market. Moreover, many government initiatives with widespread research activities by major players are expected to have a huge positive influence on the overall development of the technology in the near future.
