Global: Electric taxis in Norway’s capital city will be charged using wireless technology following a partnership between the City of Oslo, Fortum, and Momentum Dynamics. The project will use induction technology, with charging plates installed in areas where taxis, which will carry a receiver for the charging, park. The project is the first of its kind in the world, and aims to make charging more efficient for the taxi industry. From 2023 onward, all taxis in Oslo will be zero emission. Together with the taxi industry will make shift is as user friendly and efficient as possible. The goal is to make it as easy as possible to charge electric taxis, as doing so now is cumbersome, time-consuming, and expensive. Using induction, which is more energy efficient, the taxis can be charged as they wait in what’s known as a taxi rank, or a slow-moving queue where cabs line up to wait for passengers. According to BlueWeave Consulting, the increase in demand for electric vehicle, rise in oil prices, global warming, increasing infrastructure for fast or dash chargers, and rising consumer demand for convenience features will influence the global wireless electric vehicles charging industry. Wireless charging is a very interesting idea. It uses a magnetic field to transfer electricity through thin air. High-performance, safe, and cost-effective dynamic electric vehicle charging has the potential to revolutionize road transportation. Through wireless charging any electric vehicles, will charge at three times the power rating of a conventional charger with 90% efficient and also give benefits such an average all-electric vehicle can recharge in one to two hours or a hybrid plug-in in less than an hour. Moreover, wireless charging substantial benefits can be achieved with respect to user interaction, availability, reachability and automation compared to wired charging. The fundamental motivation for vehicle users to operate wireless charging systems is the convenience and the capability to automate the charging process. Furthermore, wireless EV charging will enable a substantial range extension for zero-emission driving. For the automotive OEM this could result in cost savings for energy storage solutions and related weight reductions and energy efficiency gains. According to BlueWeave Consulting‘s upcoming report, Titled-“Global Wireless EV Charging Market by Charging Station (Home, Commercial), Charging (Stationary, Dynamic), Propulsion (BEV, PHEV), Power Supply (3–<11 KW, 11–50 KW, & >50 KW),By Region, Size and Forecast 2019- 2025”- Global Wireless EV Charging  market is expected with grow with a significant rate in forecast period, 2019-2025, owing to Increasing focus on R&D activities and rapid technological changes owing to the changing government norms for  carbon emissions.  Moreover, the rising production of electric vehicles globally drives the growth of wireless electric vehicle charging market. In addition, growing sales and government support for electric vehicles, stringent regulations from various governments will drive the global wireless EV charging market in upcoming periods. According to BlueWeave Consulting‘s report, Titled,” Global Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station Market by Product Type (AC EV charging station, & DC EV charging station), by AC EV Charging Station (Level 1 & Level 2), by DC EV Charging Station (CHAdeMO, Combiner charging station & Others), by Installation Type (Residential, & Commercial), by Supplier Type ( Private charging Station & OE charging station), by Region (North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa and Latin America); Size and Forecast, 2018-2025”- Global Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station market is expected to grow over a CAGR of 29% during 2018-2025 in terms of value. Government supporting and introducing new initiatives to drive the growth of EV and EV charging station industry is driving the growth of the electric vehicle (EV) charging station market.  In addition, the price of fuel is constantly increasing which is urging the people to look for better and other energy efficient alternative. Oil price will increase over the forecast period which will accelerate the market demand for electric vehicles and EVs charging stations
