HCL technologies to acquire IBM software product for USD 1.8 Billion the deal will close by mid of 2019
India: The firm HCL Technologies has announced that it will acquire selected IBM software products for USD 1.8 billion. The products which are selected for acquisition are from growing market areas like marketing, commerce, and security which are a strategic segment for the company. These software’s represent total addressable market of around USD 50.1 billion which includes Appscan for secure application development, Notes & Domio for email, Unica for marketing automation, BigFix for secure device management, Commerce for omni-channel e-Commerce and portal for digital experience. Thus, deployment of these software’s will help HLC to gain greater opportunities, reaching and serving thousand global enterprise across the market.
