Global: Leading CRM provider Salesforce had agreed to acquire Tableau, a staple of the data visualization market, at $15.7 billion to strengthen its stance in the data analytics and business intelligence fields. Tableau, which provides easy-to-use tools for visualizing and organizing data. Salesforce is the latest big tech firm to carve itself a role in helping businesses analyze data and make smarter decisions.
